Overview
TalkAloud ("TalkAloud", "we", "us") is a B2B sales CRM operated by GREAT LEAP Services Private Limited, NH Bypass, Puthiya Road Junction, Kochi, Kerala 682028, India. This policy explains what data we collect when you use TalkAloud, why we collect it, and what control you have over it.
TalkAloud is built for businesses ("workspaces") and the people they authorize to use it. If you're a workspace member, your employer's workspace owner is responsible for what data they put into TalkAloud about their own customers and contacts; this policy covers how we, as the platform operator, handle that data on their behalf, and how we handle data about you directly (your account, your login, your usage).
Data we collect
We collect three broad categories of data:
- Account data. Your name, email address, and authentication details, handled via our identity provider (Clerk). We do not store your password ourselves.
- Workspace data. Whatever your workspace puts into TalkAloud to run its sales process: leads, Contacts, Companies, Opportunities, Proposals, nurture activity, partner records, and content you compose for social channels. This is your data, and we process it to provide the service, not for our own purposes.
- Connected-integration data. If your workspace connects Meta Lead Ads, Google Ads, or a Google Business Profile, we receive the lead and engagement data those platforms share with us, for the purpose of bringing it into your workspace. We only receive what those platforms' own permission scopes allow, and only once you've explicitly connected the integration.
- Usage & log data. Standard technical logs (IP address, browser, timestamps, pages visited) used for security, debugging, and keeping the service running.
How we use it
We use the data above to:
- Operate and provide the TalkAloud service you've signed up for.
- Authenticate you and keep your workspace's data isolated from every other workspace.
- Send transactional email (account notices, password/sign-in flows via Clerk, and any email your workspace configures through TalkAloud's own nurture or proposal features, sent on your workspace's behalf).
- Maintain security, investigate abuse, and debug issues.
- Meet legal obligations where applicable.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your workspace's customer data to train models or for any purpose outside operating the service for you.
Storage & security
Each workspace's data is stored in its own database schema — not rows filtered out of a shared table — so one workspace's data is structurally isolated from every other workspace's, not just access-controlled. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). TalkAloud is currently hosted on DigitalOcean infrastructure.
No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security, but isolation and encryption in transit are architectural properties of the product today, not just policy promises.
Third parties we rely on
Running TalkAloud means a small number of other companies process data on our behalf, strictly to provide the service:
- Clerk — authentication and session management.
- Resend — outbound transactional and system email.
- DigitalOcean — application hosting and database infrastructure.
- Meta and Google — only for workspaces that explicitly connect a Meta Lead Ads, Google Ads, or Google Business Profile integration.
Each of these processes data under its own privacy terms, in addition to this policy. We don't add new sub-processors without updating this page.
Retention & deletion
We retain workspace data for as long as the workspace is active. If you close your account or ask us to delete your workspace, we will delete your workspace's schema and its data, subject to a short operational window for backups to roll off and any data we're legally required to keep longer (e.g. for fraud prevention or tax/accounting purposes, where applicable).
Your rights
Depending on where you're located, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, contact us at crm@greatleap.in. If you're a member of someone else's workspace, some requests (like deleting a Contact record) may need to go through your workspace's owner, since that data belongs to their business, not to us.
Cookies
TalkAloud's authenticated app uses session cookies set by our identity provider (Clerk) to keep you signed in. This marketing site does not set analytics or advertising cookies.
Children's privacy
TalkAloud is a business tool and is not directed at, or knowingly used by, children. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we make a material change to how we handle data, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of TalkAloud after a change means you accept the updated policy.
