Requesting deletion of your data
You can ask TalkAloud to delete your personal data, your workspace's data, or data TalkAloud has received through a connected integration (such as a Meta/Facebook Page you connected to TalkAloud) at any time.
What happens next
- We confirm your identity against the account or workspace you named, to make sure we're deleting the right data.
- We delete the requested data from TalkAloud's systems. For a full workspace, this means deleting that workspace's entire database schema, which structurally removes everything in it.
- We confirm back to you by email once deletion is complete, typically within a few business days.
A short operational window may apply for backups to roll off, and we may be required to retain limited records where the law requires it (for example, for tax or fraud-prevention purposes). Outside of that, deletion is permanent.
If your request relates to Facebook/Meta data
If you connected a Facebook Page to TalkAloud and want TalkAloud to delete the data it received through that connection (leads, Page engagement data, or Messenger conversations synced into your workspace), include "Facebook" or "Meta" in your request. We'll delete that data from TalkAloud; this doesn't affect data Meta itself holds, which you manage separately through your Facebook account or Meta's own tools.
Disconnecting the integration from TalkAloud (Settings → Integrations → Disconnect) stops new data from syncing immediately, but doesn't by itself delete what's already stored — email us to request that it be deleted too.
